Feeny Lipscomb

"I had the most relaxed time away I've ever had. She left the house immaculate, with flowers... I felt as if a dear longtime friend had been staying at my house."

—Claire Libin (see refs)

Taos scene

"I've never seen anyone better with animals, and she takes excellent care of plants and property as well."

—Charmaine Bostwick (see refs)

"She’s a great catch, if you can get her.  She’ll bring a lot of positive energy...to your home while you’re away."

Taos Fireplace

"It's rare to find an individual with Feeny's level of integrity. Coming home to Taos was always a joy: the house was immaculate, the dogs happy and groomed, and the plants monstrously healthy. There were flowers and warm touches everywhere which showed her love and care."

—Michael Dennison (see refs)

Housesitting is a truly intimate function, and excellent housesitters are in demand and somewhat rare. Someone who will lovingly care for your home,  your plants, and your beloved pets–your most valuable possessions–is an employee,  paid or unpaid, to be highly valued. After 27 years of hiring and training housesitters for my own homes, as well as caretaking for others, I'm creating a Housesitter Certification Program, soon to be available online.

Generally, depending on work required, housesitters  receive from $10 to $25/day. The best housesitters are often referred by friends who've used the person themselves. Ask for letters of reference with an email address to contact the writer if you have questions. I am regularly available to housesit in San Pancho/ Sayulita, Mx, from November 1st to May15th  and sometimes in Taos from May 20th through October 30th.

NOTE: I  will accept unpaid housesits if the place is wonderful and the dates and location are a perfect  fit. Let's talk about your situation...
