...In the early '90's, a wonderful sister from Maui named Lili Townsend ordained me as a "Minister of Fun." The Ministry of Fun is a worldwide organization which has as its credo, "If it isn't fun, don't do it, and if you MUST do it, make it FUN!"

Since then, I have ordained many others, all of whom were suited to the task before becoming formally ordained. Like the Scarecrow or the Tin Man, they lacked only the formal certification for gifts they already possesed. Now they too can ordain others, spreading fun wherever they choose. I am convinced that the highly contagious practice of joyfulness is a spiritual act producing states where war and other atrocities would be impossible.

So whether it's matching the person with the perfect house or land, learning more about sustainable technologies,  teaching another language, or doing projects with indigenous kids, I  find a way to make it fun. Traveling and exploring new places, learning new things, speaking Spanish, decorating, singing, dancing, writing (articles, poetry, lyrics), drumming, cooking, are some of my passions.

Honesty and clear communication are vital to me. I love living near the ocean and feel blessed to have Taos Mountain in summer and Mexico's beaches in winter.  I can live happily without snow.  I have a pay-it-forward philosophy of life and truly believe we reap what we sow, now or later. I strongly believe in "Let-go-and-let-God." It works for me. (This page is appropriately titled "personal"...)
