Responsible for sales, marketing, PR, hiring/training staff of retail store, Southwest Moccasin & Drum, and for All One Tribe®, the drum manufacturing and mail-order division. Accomplishments include:
- Patented the handle for the All One Tribe® Drum
- Worked with Native American artists to develop lines of copyrighted drum designs
- Founded the non-profit All One Tribe® Foundation, a global organization supporting indigenous world causes and promoting world unity, using the drum as a symbol and tool.
- Created a global event for world peace, “Drumming In the Year 2000,” in which people around the world drummed together as the midnight hour arrived in cities around the world on Dec 31st repeating “As we drum, we are one” in many languages.

Raised the capital to buy and restore a run-down 42-room hotel and then secured its inclusion on the State and National Registers of Historic Places. Took occupancy from 36% to 98% when we sold our interest in 1989. Wrote all promotional materials and training manuals. Accomplishments include:
- Built renowned wine list for Doc Martin’s restaurant and received the Wine Specatator’s Award of Excellence, naming Doc Martin’s one of the top 100 wine lists in the world.
- Opened the popular Adobe Bar, which became (and remains) the “Living room of Taos.”
- Founded the non-profit Taos Spring Arts Celebration, now in its 25rd year, an “Open door on the visual, performing and literary arts in Taos.”
- Started the “Meet-the-Artist” Series at the Historic Taos Inn, now in its 46th season (2x/ year).
